I create my jewelry pieces both independently and in collaboration with their future wearers, based on themes or occasion-specific ideas determined by them.
When developing the idea and bringing it to its final form, I never overlook wearability and practicality for everyday use. The pieces are rich with allusions and associations, yet they remain open to personal interpretations by wearers and viewers alike, while also being simply beautiful and ornamental.
The process
1. The journey: At the outset is your desire for a piece of jewelry from Atelier Ilse Schnall. Thus begins our journey together. Please contact me to schedule an appointment where I can dedicate my time exclusively to you and your jewelry fantasies.
2. The encounter: At our first meeting, we put the jewelry poetry on paper. Perhaps you already have a specific idea of how your piece should look, or you're inspired by something? I look forward to bringing the idea to life with you. During this appointment, we will also select the precious metal, any stones, the exact color scheme, and the crafting method.
3. The implementation: With great attention to detail, years of expertise, and my own artistic touch, I create your unique piece. It is hammered, soldered, polished, oxidized, with no effort spared to bring your jewelry dream to life.
